West Beach
This beach is a beautiful and stretches from the swimming pool westward Whiteness Beach. The beach passes Nairn Golf Club.
Location:
The Beach starts around the swimming pool and extends west towards Whiteness Beach.
Visitors can reach the beach on foot from the town however there is a car park located at the Links, indicated on the map to the left.

Flora and Fauna:
West beach also features marram grass on the dunes. It also features rocky outcrops along the sands where rock pools form at low tide. These contain creatures and plants which can be discovered and explored. Seaweed covers these outcrops so be careful not to slip while hunting for crabs and starfish.
