Celebrate Burns Night in Nairn!

Burns Night is a celebration of the life and works of Scotland’s national poet, Robert Burns. Every year, Scots around the world gather to pay tribute to the man known as the Bard of Ayrshire. Nairn, our small town in the Highlands of Scotland, is no exception.

This year The Classroom Bistro in Nairn is offering a special Burns Night Menu from 24th until 26th January.

Or head to The Havelock for some Burns inspired delicious food and entertainment – why not try the Burns Night Loaded Fries as an alternative to traditional haggis?

Nairn institution, Ashers, will be offering a special Haggis, neeps and tatties Pie from 18th January for a limited time only!

And Bruce Clark, our local butcher, makes his own haggis to die for. Pick up your neeps and tatties from Swanson’s Nairn to make the perfect Burns Night dinner!

If you love traditional Scottish music as well as food, the cafe at Logie Steading will offer live music from midday on 25th January with “The World’s Smallest Ceilidh Band”!

Overall, there are plenty of ways to celebrate Burns Night in Nairn, so put on your tartan and join in the festivities!
