PLAN TO MAKE PLAYPARK BETTER FOR ALL AGES  Ambitious plans are being drawn up to transform a play park in Nairn into one of the most up-to-date of its kind in the Highlands.

NEWSOM WINS INAUGURAL NAIRN 10-MILER Nairn's first 10-mile road race, in aid of CLIC Sargent and the Yorkhill Children's Hospital, was won by Nairn-based John Newsom who runs for Central AC in a time of 54 minutes 9 sec.

NAIRN CADETS ARE MARCHING INTO HISTORY!  Air Cadets from 1068 (Nairn) Squadron took part in the Annual Drill Competition at RAF Lossiemouth against 15 other Squadrons last month.  The cadets turned up smart for the inspection and marched to success by winning the Drill competition for 2013.
